We seem to be hearing of many different companies reporting losses or even going out of business, but HTC is still going strong.  Their third quarter profits are looking to be outstanding.  In fact, their monthly net for just the month of November was $528.57 million!

That number represents a 10.8 percent increase in profits for the Taiwan-based phone manufacturer and an increase of 22.1 percent from last year.  There best selling devices are, as one might expect, the HTC Touch Diamond and the T-Mobile G1.  Overall, it has been reported that smartphone sales have increased 11.5 percent in quarter three although Nokia, the top seller, actually reported a negative growth.
