It seems just like yesterday that we were fielding rumors about the HTC G1, and now, we’re already hearing things about the HTC T-Mobile G2, the second Android-powered smartphone.  Can it be true?  Well, one of those rumors is a January 26, 2009 release date.  That one, we’re betting is false.  Some of the others, though, include that the G2 will be a full touch device, so there won’t be any physical keyboard included.  Supposedly, it was originally slated for a February 2009 release but that has been bumped back to April because of software issues.  Another rumor says that the G2 will launch on not only T-Mobile but also another carrier as well, although that carrier will have to carry the device under a different name.  Interesting bits of information, but none of it is confirmed yet.  As always, we’ll keep you updated as new rumors come in.
