Well, yes and no.  The HTC T-Mobile G1 is certainly selling like hotcakes, mainly because of one thing: Android.  The new operating system is selling so well, in fact, that HTC has let it be known that sales of their devices running Windows Mobile have actually slipped a bit.  While they didn’t comment just how far the numbers had dropped, it certainly seems like many people are jumping on the Android bandwagon.  Is it just because it’s something new, or is the operating system really a step above all the others?  Only time will tell, but for now, Android is the star of HTC’s world.
