HTC Diamond Gets Flat Back, Codenamed Victor

The HTC Diamond, no doubt named for it's diamond like shape, is getting a bit of a makeover. The new HTC Diamond, codenamed Victor, loses the angled back for a new flat back.

While the unique design and let's face it brand recognition for a product named Diamond, the flat variation will be more friendly when ti comes to placing the device on a flat surface. There is no word on wireless carriers are in line for the new version of the HTC Touch Diamond. Functionality between the original Touch Diamond and Victor remain the same. While the diamond shaped back is interesting, Victor's back looks similar to a BlackBerry Curve.
