As we reported a few days ago, there are rumors that T-Mobile may be sending HTC G1 users a larger battery that will last longer than the current one.  However, It looks like Seidio has beaten T-Mobile to the punch, although they aren’t giving away these larger batteries by any means!  However, they are offering a 1400mAh battery that will keep your G1 running for a few more hours.  That’s not bad, but here’s the catch: it’s $42.95 for one.  However, it does fit in the exact same space as the current G1 battery, and you can get it now instead of waiting for T-Mobile to send out their upgraded batteries (assuming, of course, that the rumors surrounding them are actually true).  Is the extra talk time worth the cash?  Well, that just depends on how much you depend on your G1.
