Previously, we mentioned that the HTC Cedar has received approval by the FCC.  Well, apparently that was the Cedar 200—a portrait style device with a QWERTY keyboard.  Now the FCC has reviewed the HTC Cedar 100.  It’s fairly common for HTC and other device manufacturers to created different versions of the same device using the same name with a number after it, and that looks like what has happened here.  Both Cedar 200 and Cedar 100 are CDMA, so it’s likely they’re the models aimed for Verizon or Sprint.  How do the two devices differ?  We’ll keep you updated that and other news.
