Are you waiting to get your hands on the HTC G1 but just don’t want to spend the money?  Well, here’s the good news.  United States carrier T-Mobile has dropped the price down to $79 if you’re a Costco warehouse club member.  This is cheaper than the $97 that Amazon is offering for those who are willing to commit to a two year contract.  Of course, with the G2/Magic on the way, why shouldn’t the price of the original Android phone start dropping?  If you don’t have a G1 and would love to see what all this Android fuss is about, now’s the time to update.
