When we discussed the list of future T-Mobile Android offerings a few days ago, one of the phones on that list was the G1 Version 2. Well, some very interesting news has come up since then: the phone identified as the G1 v. 2 is not going to be made by HTC! That’s right, it’s not technically going to be an updated HTC G1. Instead, it’s going to be made by Motorola, and while it may resemble the G1 at first glance, a closer look shows that it has some subtle differences. This includes the font used on the keyboard and on the front of the phone. So why not go with HTC on this one? Only the people at T-Mobile know….
