Good news for everyone eagerly awaiting the HTC Touch HD. The Federal Communications Commission, the juggernaut that decides what is and what is not an acceptable communications device, has given its seal of approval to the Touch HD. The phone will carry the model number BLAC100, where BLAC is short for Blackstone. But don't start saving up for the Touch HD just yet-even though the FCC has approved this piece of hardware, the WCDMA 850/1900 hasn't made it past the FCC crew. That leaves us here in North America without a HTC with 3G bands.
