The AT&T Fuze, also known as the HTC Touch Pro, has reportedly received approval from the FCC. FCC approval is a must for any new phone and it's usually a sign that it's coming soon. The FCC documentation shows an HTC model with code "NM8RPLT", which means it's based on the HTC Rafael. Looks like the Fuze is getting closer.

High Tech Computer Corp. has sent the recently announced HTC Touch Diamond to the FCC for approval, a step that is necessary before they can make it available in the US market. HTC Touch Diamond

Acording to the documents, HTC is seeking FCC approval on the GSM version of the Touch Diamond. HTC stated last week that we can expect to see the release of the Touch Diamond in the second half of 2008. No word on a CDMA version, but many expect Sprint to release a Rev. A compatible Touch Diamond before year's end.

Good news for everyone eagerly awaiting the HTC Touch HD. The Federal Communications Commission, the juggernaut that decides what is and what is not an acceptable communications device, has given its seal of approval to the Touch HD. The phone will carry the model number BLAC100, where BLAC is short for Blackstone. But don't start saving up for the Touch HD just yet-even though the FCC has approved this piece of hardware, the WCDMA 850/1900 hasn't made it past the FCC crew. That leaves us here in North America without a HTC with 3G bands.
