To achieve this, the batteries are more often than not, inadequate for power users. That 900 mAH is probably perfect for the user who talks a few minutes a day and maybe checks mail 3-4 times. But to take advantage of all this phone offers, I doubt that 900 milliAmpere per hour will get it through a day with the "Raphael" once you configure IMAP email and listen to that radio for about an hour. Add any kind of internet usage such as YouTube, and you will probably be looking under desks or at USB connections to get you through a day. Again, I am not picking on this phone, or htc phones, but basically all smart phones. My TyTN II came with a 1350 mAH battery OEM, and it won't get me through a full day! I keep a charger in the Truck, a Charger on my bike, a USB cable at my computers, and a powercharger by my bed, that also charges a 2nd 1350 battery. I am so tired of being "tethered" to a power source, today I ordered a 3000 mAH battery off of ebay. It's going to add considerable weight/bulk, but to me, it's a decent trade-off. I just wish that phone manufacturers would be a little more open to persons such as myself and would offer, at a reasonable price, an upgrade to a larger battery.

thsnkfully i just picked mine up today and it has a 1350 mAh battery instead. It is so much nicer than the 900 that was quoted initially.
