how to install software ?

Hello .
I buy a HTC touch Diamond. I found in the package a cd with Microsoft Outlook 2007. It is for phone ? Can i install Outlook 2007 on my htc diamond. I see the phone have word mobile , excel mobile etc installed, but no Outlook 2007 or mobile.
On the other hand i don't know exactly how to install new software, including also software for the integrated GPS.

the disk is for installing outlook onto your pc incase you dont have microsoft office installed already.. it is only a trial version though but its just convenient for saving your contacts...

How do I install a program that I downloaded onto my HTC Touch Diamond? It's a .cab file, and I don't know what to do with it...

just transfer you cab file anywhere onto your phone.. the use file explorer to locate it and then just double click it for the install.. that should be it..

This thread gives a few places to find software to download.

I've found that http://ppc4you.blogspot.com/, especially, has page after page of all sorts of cool programs.

Some, you run from your computer (usually an .exe) while your phone is ActiveSync attached to it, and that installs the program. Other (special .zip files with a .cab extension, get transferred over to your phone, and you run it from there.
