HTC Rafael and Diamond Coming To Sprint

By: Christopher Meinck
April 23, 2008

It appears that Sprint will release follow-up models to the popular HTC Touch and HTC Mogul devices later this year. Codenamed Rafael (Mogul) and Diamond (Touch), expect the Rafael to hit streets in September followed by the Diamond in November.

These new HTC devices will feature 3 megapixel cameras and VGA displays. As with the previous Mogul, the latest model will also ship with a full QWERTY keyboard. The new HTC devices will also feature Windows Mobile 6.1

Both the Mogul and the Touch have done very well for Sprint, yet haven't made an appearance on AT&T. With the second generation Touch around the corner, look for a GSM friendly version around Q4 or early 2009.

These devices are still yet to be officially announced by HTC, however the company does have an event scheduled for May 6th where they promise "the next wave of HTC Innovation".

Discuss these new devices in our HTC forums.
